No data available in Contacts, Opportunities, Leads, ...

I have the Sugar Professional edition, version 7.5.

A new user as been added into our SugarCRM. When he logs in he is not able to see any data under Contacts, Opportunities or Leads, so basically no data in any Entity. It just appears "No data available".
Do I need to do anything in the user's settings? I didn't find any option there.
