"Login or Password Incorrect" error while press 'Test Settings' while configuring Inbound email in SugarCRM 6.5.17 Community Edition

Hello everyone, while configuring inbound email, I am getting this error "Login or Password Incorrect". I am using my outlook to configure email...please help me soon.

This usually means exactly what the error message is stating, that the credentials are incorrect. Double check all of the credentials to ensure that they are accurate. If they are indeed correct, try checking the error log on the mail server and see if it gives you any indication as to the source of the problem.
If you are using a self-hosted Exchange server, make sure that your SMTP relays are setup properly. By default, Exchange will work in your domain and with Outlook but won't work outside of the domain or on non-Microsoft products.
