Hello,

Below my question is what I already tried.

I'm running SuiteCRM Version 7.1.4 which is based on Sugar Version 6.5.18

What I'm trying to do is let a user define the "type" of relationship between objects.

Is it possible to add a editable textfield to a relationship? So for example when there is a relationship between one contact with other contacts which are family of the first contact my users can add to this relationship text like: niece, uncle, brother, mom, dad, etc..

Searching the forums resulted in some hits:

http://forums.sugarcrm.com/f6/help-adding-custom-field-contact-contact-many-many-relationship-78989/

Both are posts from some time ago, so maybe there is a better way to do this. Please enlighten me if there is!

I tried both solutions but I can't make the field editable.. I think I'm missing some SQL queries as well.

I think I'm on the right track but just missing some things, any help is really appreciated!

If more information is needed I will be happy to provide it!

Thanks in advance!
