How do I get imported Contacts to display in the Account record?

I am using SugarCRM v.6.7.5 and importing records via the provided template to the Business Pipe area, with Contacts (first and last name) included in the imported file. The Contacts are being picked up by the system and display/are searchable in the Contacts area, but they are not appearing in the Contacts section within the Account Record itself under Business Pipe. What are we missing?
