Unable to connect to database - "Please refer to sugarcrm.log for details"

we have been using Community edition and recently we can not access Sugar. Since yesterday, an error Could not connect to the database. Please refer to sugarcrm.log for details. is displayed

Open your SugarCRM root folder and open config.php and search for the below line and check if every thing is correct...
'db_host_name' => 'yourhost',
'db_host_instance' => 'SQLEXPRESS',
'db_user_name' => 'your db user name',
'db_password' => 'your db password',
'db_name' => 'your db name',
'db_type' => 'mysql',
'db_port' => '',
'db_manager' => 'MysqliManager',
