Dear Sugar Community,

My name is Ing-Marie Jonsson and I am the Director of User Experience (UX) at SugarCRM. Periodically, my team collects feedback from our community members on the UX of future Sugar releases and products and we would like your input!

Your feedback counts and your input makes a difference!

For these tests, we use third party testing platforms that provide us with four tools - VerifyApp, SolidifyApp, InfluenceApp and SurveyMonkey. You will be shown some variations of potential user interface designs and asked to do one of the following:
  • Select your favorite
  • “Thumbs-up”/“Thumbs-down” a design
  • click through screens to determine if we have the optimum design and user flow
We have three tests available today.  Please take a quick couple of minutes out of your day and click through the links below.  Two about visualizing “disabled” buttons in Sugar 7 and one test on how to visualize “overdue” for tasks.

Disabled buttons — Visible or not visible?  Tooltips or no Tooltips ?
Type of activity: Thumbs-up/Thumbs-down
Duration: Approx. 2 minutes or less

Disabled buttons  — Color and pattern to use for disabled buttons?
Type of activity: Thumbs-up/Thumbs-down
Duration: Approx. 2 minutes or less

Overdue task — Label or Icon?
Type of activity: thumbs up/thumbs down.
Duration: approx. 2 minutes or less

Also, if you are joining us for SugarCon 2014, please sign up for the UXLab, a hands on experience with new Sugar7 features.

Many thanks from the Sugar UX Team!
