Bad Request error when confirming meeting

When a user creates a meeting and sends emails for the meeting to attendees, the attendees receive the email fine. When the attendees open the link in the email to confirm, they receive an error stating: 

"Bad Request

Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.
Reason: You're speaking plain HTTP to an SSL-enabled server port.
Instead use the HTTPS scheme to access this URL, please."


If the user copy-pastes the URL from the email from Sugar into a browser and changes the URL to https:// instead of http://, the meeting confirms fine. 


How can I change the default content of the email being sent from Meetings to include https:// in the meeting confirmation emails?
