I created an opportunity. I want to associate various contacts with that opportunity. But, I have not found a way to auto populate the fields when adding a contact to an opportunity. (This is different than trying to mass import contacts into an opportunity.) That is, the contact exists in SugarCRM, associated with a given account. But when I try to add the contact to an opportunity, I end up having to rekey all the information, rather than having SugarCRM either auto-populate the fields, or at least show me a list of names from which I can select the one I want to add.
Is this something I will have to program separately, or am I overlooking a functionality built into the Community version of SugarCRM.
I am running Version 6.5.15 (Build 1083)

To clarify: From an Opportunity that is already related to an Account (which has one or more related Contacts), you want to relate some (or all) of the Contacts from the Account to the Opportunity?
If this is correct: From the Opportunity's DetailView, scroll down to the Contacts subpanel and click the down arrow next to the "Create" button and click "Select" from the dropdown menu that appears (see screenshot):
A pop-up should come on screen that is already filtered by the related Account, displaying the Contacts that are related to that Account only. From the pop-up, you can check some or all the contacts in the "Contact List" then click the "Select" button. The pop-up will go away and the Opportunity's Contact subpanel should now be populated with the Contacts.

Dan
