"Notes" in an account and the "Notes" tab are not visible

Hello everyone

With my organisation we are just getting started with Sugar and have imported notes we made for accounts from our old excel sheet. The notes are properly associated with all accounts and are in there. There are however two problems:

1. They however do not show up under the "History" panel for the detailed view of each account. They do show in the separate window when I select "View summary". Why do they not show?

2. There is no "Notes" tab visible in the top bar of Sugar. I can only see it if, at an account, I do: "Create note or attachment" --> "Full form". Then it shows I am working in the "Notes" tab, but I can't get there directly. (It cannot be solved by changing settings for the users such as google search results often tell me concerning this.)

The version of Sugar we are using is: Version 6.5.16 (Build 1082)

Could someone please help me on these problems?
