Can't send campaign e-mails

Hi, is just that i've been trying to send e-mails for campaigns, and i make all the right steps for campaigns, and it doesn«t show any errors or anything, i just dont receive the e-mails. In the emails settings i have gmail account for it, the smtp and port 587. i dont know exactly what could it be. in the email settings i keep getting the following: No optimums were saved with your Inbound Email account. Please review the settings. is it related to the fact that emails are not being sent for campaigns?, please help, thanks in advanced.
