Avoid multiple email notifications

Hi All


The main automation process in our on-demand SugarCRM (7.11) checks for incoming leads with regards to their region and assigns it to the related sales rep. Because I need to customize the notifications for sales, I added a dedicated "Send out" action after the assignment.


However, as you can assume, each sales rep now gets two notifications. One from the system, triggered by the lead assignment itself and immediately after that, my customized one. Obviously, I could simply turn off lead assignment notifications in the global mail settings but this would automatically mean that no further notification will be sent out after a lead got assigned for a second, third or fourth time etc.


Is there any way around this problem? I'm really struggling with the default because you also can't customize the system mails…otherwise I would just use the default notification.
