Suggestions for Intelligence Pane flexibility and additional configurations

    Sugar 7's Sidecar Framework has the potential to deliver wonderful insight and enhanced visibility but does it come at too high a price?  As we implement Sugar7, our customers have a love/hate relationship with it.  On the one hand, data comes to life in all key modules.  But what about all the other modules that have not had the benefit of "Dashboard" customisation?  Does the sidebar then become an achilles heel as it can take up vital screen real estate? The customer is left to "Toggle Dashboard Visibility" which can't be right.

    What do you think?  Is the "intelligence pane" a pain or is it a gain?  Are Sugar7's standard dashboards sufficient for all implementations?

    Personally, I'd like a way to be able to switch it on/off per module and per view (i.e. See it in the List View for Contacts but maybe not see it in the Record View for Contacts.  Hide it completely for the "Sales Team" in the Case Module..... etc).

    Its a great idea and something that every CRM should have.... as long as it can be customised easily, cost effectively and without a major development effort.
