A CRM deployment must be a partnership between IT and the business users of the technology. That is the approach Ivo Shotten, CIO of Alere LATAM (a global pharmaceuticals firm recently acquired by Abbott Laboratories) took when implementing Sugar across multiple regions in South America. In addition to the multi-language, multi-currency and sales culture differences involved in such an initiative – Ivo was also looking to integrate Sugar with key systems including Qlik Sense for enhanced business intelligence and SAP for complete ERP integration. Through a solid system of change management, governance and championing the user, the Alere project went live across Brazil, Argentina and Columbia in only a few short months. In this session, Ivo will explain how his ability to align with Sales leadership led to such a successful rollout, reveal some of the benefits Alere is seeing from its cutting edge integrations to BI and ERP, and highlight the next phase in Alere’s CRM vision.
