The Sugar Connector for Marketo 3.1.4 has been released!

 

This release addresses bugs identified in prior releases, includes support for PHP 7.1, and includes compatibility with the upcoming Sugar Fall '17 (7.10) release.

SugarCRM Mobile 6.0.1 is now available for download on iOS and Android devices.

 

This latest SugarCRM Mobile release fixes issues identified in prior releases, specifically an issue where dropdown fields dependent on a parent dropdown are incorrectly visible in SugarCRM Mobile when the dependency is not satisfied.

Hint Version 2 Released!

SugarCRM has released version 2 of Hint. Hint is a relationship intelligence service that scans the internet to provide detailed information about your contacts and leads. Data such as social media accounts, work information, and company details are visible for contacts and leads based on their email address. Users can also quickly import the enhanced data into the Sugar with a single click.

 

The 2.0.0 version of Hint includes the following enhancements:

  • The News section of the Hint panel displays recent news stories about the lead's or contact's company.
  • The Hint panel is now automatically available as a stand-alone dashboard on the Contacts and Leads record view. Customers upgrading from Hint 1.0.0 will need to delete the unused Hint dashlet from their affected dashboards.
  • Hint data is retrieved and copied to your new record when creating a contact or lead. Populate the email address followed by the Enter key to retrieve and import the enhanced data.
  • Hint now retrieves three additional fields to capture a company's SIC code, NAICS code, annual revenue, and fiscal year end.

 

This release also addresses issues identified in version 1 of Hint. More information on version 2 can be found on the SugarCRM Website and in the Hint 2.0.0 Release Notes.

 

Customers hosted On-Demand will have their version of Hint upgraded to version 2 automatically. Installation and usage documentation for Hint can be found at the following links:

Hint is supported for use on Sugar versions 7.8.x and above. Please review the Supported Platforms for Hint before installing. 

 

Hint can be purchased by contacting your Sugar sales representative. If your instance is hosted in Sugar's On-Demand environment, Hint will automatically be installed after purchase. If your instance is hosted elsewhere, an admin user must download the Hint package and install it to your instance.

Mobile SDK 6.0.0 Released!

SugarCRM is excited to announce the release of the SugarCRM Mobile SDK!

 

Using the SugarCRM Mobile SDK, mobile developers can customize the SugarCRM Mobile app and distribute their custom app through the Apple App Store or Google Play store or, for increased security and ease of distribution, through a private app store.

The Mobile SDK is supported for use with SugarCRM Mobile 6.0.0 and for SugarCRM customers or SugarCRM OEM Partners (for use and distribution with their authorized OEM solution) running Enterprise or Ultimate editions of Sugar 7.7 or higher. Please review the Mobile Supported Platforms before customizing the SDK.

SugarCRM Mobile 6.0.0 is now available for download on iOS and Android devices.

 

This latest SugarCRM Mobile release adds the ability to convert leads from the Leads detail view and list view of the SugarCRM Mobile app, as well as fixes for a number of issues identified in prior releases. Lead conversion is available for instances of Sugar running version 7.9.1.0 and above and supports "Contacts", "Accounts", "Opportunities", "Tasks", "Cases", "Notes", "Revenue Line Items" (for Enterprise and Ultimate editions of Sugar), and Custom modules.

Following our investigations, we have no reason to believe that the vulnerabilities were exploited. However, we recommend that you take the immediate steps below to ensure that your data stays protected:

 

On-Demand Customers

If you are hosted in Sugar On-Demand, no action is required as these vulnerabilities and bugs have been patched in our On-Demand environment. If you have additional questions related to how your instance has been affected, please open a case with our support team.

 

On-Site Customers

If you host your instance On-Site (in any environment outside of our Sugar On-Demand environment), please carefully review the following instructions and take the actions outlined below at the earliest opportunity. Failure to take these actions could leave you exposed to malicious attacks:

 

Version 7.9.x

Please visit our Download Manager to download the latest patch for your release, 7.9.2.0, which address these vulnerabilities. Our Installation and Upgrade Guide contains the appropriate guidance to apply these patches to your instance.

 

Version 7.8.x

Please visit our Download Manager to download the latest patch for your release, 7.8.2.2, which address these vulnerabilities. Our Installation and Upgrade Guide contains the appropriate guidance to apply these patches to your instance.

 

Version 7.7.x

Please visit our Download Manager to download the latest patch for your release, 7.7.2.3, which addresses these vulnerabilities. Our Installation and Upgrade Guide contains the appropriate guidance to apply this patch to your instance.

SugarCRM has released version 2.4.1 of the Sugar Plug-in for Microsoft Outlook.

 

This latest release includes the following new features and enhancements to the mail view side panel:

  • The side panel now displays additional key information (e.g. phone, address) for matching Sugar accounts.
  • When creating a related case or bug via the subpanel, the create form now has the Subject and Description fields auto-populated based on the selected email's details.

 

Sugar Plug-in for Microsoft Outlook 2.4.1 also addresses issues identified in prior releases of the Outlook Plug-in. More information on the new features and enhancements as well as the fixed bugs can be found in the MS Outlook Plug-in Release Notes 2.4.1.

Version 7.9.1.0 Released!

SugarCRM has released version 7.9.1.0 for all commercial editions. The 7.9.1.0 release is available for download to On-Site customers and is being automatically applied to On-Demand instances running an earlier version of Sugar.

 

This latest release includes support for PHP 7.1. Technical details regarding PHP 7.1 can be found here. This release also addresses issues identified in prior releases of Sugar. More information on the updates in this release can be found in the following release notes:

SugarCRM is pleased to announce that version 4.5.0 of the Customer Journey Plug-in is now available!

 

This latest release includes the following new features and enhancements:

  • Several journey-specific options such as "Is Customer Journey Meeting" have been added to the list view filters for Sugar's stock Calls, Meetings, and Tasks modules
  • Tasks, calls, and meetings can now be added as sub-activities under the primary activities in Customer Journeys and Customer Journey templates
  • The due date is directly displayed on each open activity in a journey as a color-coded tag
  • The "Blocked By" field is now a multiselect so that activities may be made dependent on one or more blocker activities
  • The Customer Journey modules will be enabled by default in the mobile app

SugarCRM is excited to announce the release of Hint!

 

Hint is a relationship intelligence service that brings external information about your contacts and leads into Sugar. Data such as social media accounts, work information, and company details are visible for contacts and leads based on their email address. Users can also quickly import the enhanced data into the Sugar with a single click.

 

The 1.0.0 version of Hint includes the following features:

  • The Hint panel displays external information for Sugar contacts and leads. The panel is available via the Hint dashlet on Contact and Lead record views as well as via the Preview button on Contacts and Leads list views and subpanels.
  • Users can import Hint data to contacts or leads by downloading individual fields or all enhanced data in a single click.
  • When accessing Hint via the Preview button from Contacts and Leads list views or subpanels, an Activity History section lists recent calls, meetings, and emails related to the individual.
