SugarCRM has released version 2.3.2 of the IBM Notes Plug-in.

Mobile SDK 8.0 Is Live

SugarCRM Mobile SDK version 8.0.502-1.4.2-2 is now available for Sugar Mobile developers.

 

Using the SugarCRM Mobile SDK, mobile developers can extend the capabilities of the SugarCRM Mobile app and distribute their custom apps through the Apple App Store, Google Play store, or, for ease of distribution and control, through an MDM.

SugarCRM has released version 5.1.2 of SugarCRM Hint. Hint provides a wide range of important, useful, and actionable insights about your contacts and accounts. Insights include social media, work information, company details, news, and more, all by leveraging names and email addresses already stored in Sugar. Users can also quickly import the enhanced data into Sugar with a single click. Uncover key insights and receive real-time notifications of key information at every stage of your sales, marketing, and customer service cycles with actionable intelligence.

 

At SugarCRM, we consider data security and the protection of your private information our highest priority. This latest release includes important security updates. As part of our ongoing security review process, we have recently detected security vulnerabilities and, to minimize potential risks, those issues have been investigated and addressed in this updated release.

The 5.1.2 version of Hint release also includes updates to support Sugar's upcoming Summer '19 (9.1) release. More information about this release can be found Hint 5.1.2 Release Notes.

 

If you are hosted in the SugarCloud, no action is required as this vulnerability has been patched in the cloud environment. If you have additional questions related to how your instance has been affected, please open a case with our support team. Note: On-site customers (non-SugarCloud) must first uninstall existing Hint versions before upgrading to Hint 5.x.x. However, upgrading from 5.0.x to 5.1.2 does not require an uninstall.

SugarCRM is pleased to announce that version 5.0.0 of the Customer Journey Plug-in is now available.

 

This latest release includes the following new features and enhancements:

  • Support for the upcoming Summer '19 release, allowing this version of the plug-in to be used with Sugar versions 7.9.x through 9.1.x.
  • Customer Journeys are now supported for use with the Target Lists module
  • It is now possible to archive a completed journey to hide it from the Customer Journeys subpanel under its parent record. 
  • Define which statuses the Customer Journey Plug-in considers "closed" for calls, meetings, and tasks in your instance.
  • Clickable internal or external URLs can now be added to an activity as reference.
  • Target Assignee options have been added to the activity template to allow for more granular control of assignees. When used, an activity-level assignee will override the journey-level assignee. In addition to the variable assignee options (ie, Current User and Parent Assignee), you can select a specific user or team as an activity's assignee.
  • Activities may now contain Related Sugar Actions that can prompt users to quickly view, create, or update a given Sugar record related to the current journey.
  • Customer Journey Web Hooks are available for use with records in all of the template modules (Customer Journey Templates, Stage Templates, and Activity Templates) via the Web Hooks subpanel under each template's record view.
  • The licensing process, including automatic license updates and the addition of expiration information in the config table, has received several improvements and updates.
  • The journey experience while using the mobile app has received several improvements, including the addition of Customer Journey subpanels and the sorting of journey activities in the correct order.

SugarCRM Mobile 8.0 is now available for download on iOS and Android devices.

 

This release introduces drill-through charts to SugarCRM Mobile, allowing users to tap on reports with charts in dashlets to open a list view of the chart data. This release also addresses issues identified in prior releases of SugarCRM Mobile.

Sugar 9.0.1 is now available for all customers running Sugar's on-premise release (see: annual release model).

 

This release addresses issues identified in prior releases. Please review the 9.0.1 release notes using the following links to learn more about the variety of fixes included in this release:

Developers: The Developer sections of the UltimateEnterprise, and Professional Release Notes include important information about updates to the v11.4 and v11.5 REST API. Please review these sections for more information.

Mobile SDK 6.5.2 is Live

SugarCRM Mobile SDK version 6.5.2.497-1.4.2-2 is now available for Sugar Mobile developers.

 

Using the SugarCRM Mobile SDK, mobile developers can extend the capabilities of the SugarCRM Mobile app and distribute their custom apps through the Apple App Store, Google Play store, or, for ease of distribution and control, through an MDM.

 

Changes to the Mobile SDK include:

  • Global search on SugarCRM Mobile now uses Sugar's Elasticsearch engine via the /rest/v10/globalsearch API endpoint
  • Handlebars.js has been upgraded from version 4.0.11 to version 4.0.13
  • Cordova CLI has been upgraded from version 7.1.0 to version 8.1.2

SugarCRM is pleased to announce the release of version 1.1.0 of the Sugar Connector for LinkedIn Sales Navigator.

 

This latest release includes the following enhancements:

  • Support for the recently released Spring '19 and 9.0 versions of Sugar
  • LinkedIn’s display service has been updated. Some of the new features include:
    • The new Messages module enables sending LinkedIn messages and InMail through Sugar
    • The new Connect module enables sending connection invites through Sugar
    • Custom Lists help keep track of leads, accounts, and existing clients saved from Sugar to Sales Navigator

SugarCRM Mobile 6.5 is Live

SugarCRM Mobile 6.5.0 is now available for download on iOS and Android devices.

 

This latest SugarCRM Mobile release is enhanced with the following capabilities:

  • When set in the user preferences in Sugar, Preferred Currencies are now used by default when creating records in the app. If the profile has "Show Preferred Currency" enabled, the preferred currency is used when viewing records, along with the record's original currency.
  • Global search has been improved on SugarCRM Mobile to now use Sugar's Elasticsearch engine. Individual fields marked as searchable and weighted in Studio according to their search priority also affects global search in the app.

This release also includes improvements for issues identified in prior releases of SugarCRM Mobile.

Hint 5.1.0 is Live

SugarCRM has released version 5.1.0 of SugarCRM Hint. Hint provides a wide range of important, useful, actionable insights about your contacts and accounts. Insights include social media, work information, company details, news and more, all by leveraging names and email addresses already stored in Sugar. Users can also quickly import the enhanced data into Sugar with a single click. Uncover key insights at every stage of your sales, marketing, and customer service cycles with actionable intelligence.

 

The 5.1.0 version of Hint release will significantly benefit customers through the features included in this release:

  • Admins can now resynchronize their Sugar instance with the Hint Insights service when unexpected behavior occurs. This gives admins the tools to correct issues with notifications, such as changes to preferences and email addresses not taking effect.
  • Hint now writes to the Sugar logs. The log level can be configured in the new Hint Configuration admin page. 
  • News search has been enhanced to allow older stories to be included in the search and filter results in the Hint Insights dashlet and the News section of the Hint panel.
  • Hint now uses Sugar's proxy settings as configured in Admin > System Settings.

Customers hosted in the SugarCloud will have their version of Hint upgraded to version 5.1.0 automatically. Installation, upgrade, and usage documentation for Hint can be found at the following links:
