Elasticsearch
We are doing multiple sessions on Elasticsearch which has been a very popular topic at past events.
Last year's UnCon provided an example customization that allowed full text search of file attachments on Documents and Notes modules. The Elasticsearch file search package is over in the UnCon Github repository, if you want to try it out for yourself. It is worth a look!
For this year, we want to do build something different. Do you know of an Elasticsearch use case that you would like to see implemented in Sugar? Have you been asked to do a geolocation search? There are Sugar customer all over the world, so a big emphasis for our product is making sure it is ready for global users with a variety of languages, cultures, and accessibility challenges.
